![]() Philosophy No, we're not off into Zen but rather take a quick look at the mind set of a successful trader. And trading is a very challenging experience from a psychological viewpoint. Here's our philosophy on trading..... Take what the market gives you. Don't sit and wait until you've given it all back - take it! There will always be another trade opportunity along soon. Have a plan, and trade it. Trading is about "getting into the long run" which means it's a numbers game. If you can trade 100 trades and then do some statistical analysis you can make changes to improve the figures. You simply cannot make any judgements on a handful of trades. Trading is half art and half science. It is a skill that CAN be learnt but only through practice which means "being in the market". You can't learn to swim without getting wet! The first rule of trading is lose less than you make....... There is no system, no method, no indicator, that will make you into a good trader. It's about you and being able to have a feel for the market. The market is a group of individuals who can at times lose all sense of independence and act without thinking. You just need to be different and not join the crowd. |
