Learning to trade is a long journey, but it starts with being able to use charts, being able to interpret what they are telling you and acting on it.  Metatrader 4 is fast becoming the inductry "standard" and here I will explain how to use it.
	GETTING IT Whilst there are probably hundreds of websites from which you could download MT4 there some advantages to using certain brokers. We of course look at the actual process of downloading and opening a "demo" account required
	BASIC SET UP We'll  look at getting different charts, different timeframes, different types of chart and some other basics of charting.
	ADDING INDICATORS MT4 has a good selection of standard indicators to work with but there are also additional ones available and we'll look at importing these and adding them

Of course being able to get a chart up on your screen is one thing..... being able to trade based on what the chart tells you is a whole different ball game. I have been trading professionally for many years and spent about 5 years "trying" to trade; buying every course, book, and seminar I could.. I tried trading everything from daily charts of commodity futures and options through to tic charts of stocks at the open. My success was, shall we say, limited. Then Forex became more accesible and tradeable and I refined my trading using what, by then , I "knew" worked and what was mumbo jumbo could be completely ignored - I finally knew the difference.
